Open Box FAQs
As we transition away from using our Instagram Flash Sale Page, we want to maintain a similar easy experience for our customers on our new website platform!
What is an OPEN BOX?
An Open Box is an option we offer to ONLY our Instagram customers, where they can claim items listed on our website and pay at a later posted invoice date. This coincides with our Instagram Live Sale invoicing & ship out dates.
How to select an open box at checkout
As you browse our site, you may add items into your cart. When you are ready to finalize your purchase:
~ Click on your Shopping Bag and review your order (you'll see all of your items listed here)
~ This will direct you to a Checkout Screen. Ensure that you enter your email address in the box and then press CHECKOUT
~ Under the Shipping & Delivery options, please select INSTAGRAM OPEN BOX and enter your name (and optional phone number). Press CONTINUE.
~ At this point you will see OPEN BOX - NO SHIPPING CHARGE. This should be the only option available on your screen! Press CONTINUE.
~ At this next stage, you have 2 PAYMENT OPTIONS available!
#1. You can pay for your items in full using any major credit card. This option is great for people wanting to budget & pay right away! Should you choose this option, paid items will be set aside for you as a PAID OPEN BOX and a photo will be sent to you via Instagram.
#2. You can select OPEN BOX OPTION which lists an invoicing date. This option is intended for customers who would like to combine their WEBSITE order with their LIVE SALE order and have them all invoiced together on the date listed.
~ To finalize your transaction, enter your full billing address and press PLACE ORDER. You will receive a confirmation email outlining the items you selected.
** Please keep in mind, if you are selecting the OPEN BOX OPTION you are agreeing to pay for these items within 24 hours of your invoice being sent! Put backs are NOT permitted. If you do not pay within the 24 hour time requirement, your items will be put back and you will no longer be eligible for OPEN BOX. This will also include a complete ban from our Instagram Live Sales moving forward.
Why offer an OPEN BOX?
We offer this service for customers who are wanting to add on items to an order to help them qualify for Free Shipping. Alternatively, Open Boxes can be used in between our Live Sale dates as a way to pre-purchase items.
Am I Eligible for an OPEN BOX?
To be eligible for this service you MUST be following us on our Instagram platform ( @spirit.roots.company ) and ensure that you HAVE sent us a Direct Message with your full email. This is how all communication will occur!
If you do not have Instagram, this Open Box option is not available to you, and all purchases must be paid for at the point of check-out. Shipping options will be available for you there!
Can I Put back items when they are in my open box?
To ensure that the OPEN BOX claiming process is fair to all of our customers (and to us), we DO NOT offer put backs! It is expected that you pay for your items in full on the invoicing date!
Open box options rely on mutual respect between customers and us.
To avoid putting yourself in a financial situation where payment at a later date might be an issue, please use the #1 payment option listed above. Then you can stay on top of your order as you go! :)
WHEN DOES MY OPEN BOX SHIP?
Your OPEN BOX items will ship on our announced ship out date (found in our Instagram bio) once they are paid for in full and you have reached the Free Shipping minimum requirement ($135CAD) OR you have paid the Flat Rate Shipping fee ($15CAD).
We ONLY ship to Canada & Continental USA!
